Scholarships, now in NID are provided to students with respect to economic constraints. This covers tuition fees and corresponds to the exact amount of fees to be submitted in next semester.

Lodging, Food and other expenses are to be borne by the student and can be within a range of 1.5 lakh - 2.5 lakh per annum.

The primary requisite is are:

1. Total income of earning members of the family should be less than a prescribed figure. Figures changed after implementation of GST. You can consult accordingly with the Administration and Academics.
2. Income certificate ratified by the head of the family. It is also applicable if your spouse is sponsoring your fees and expenditure.

Besides, the official scholarship you can also avail the FORD Foundation scholarship and it is provided to all the students who have received 100% scholarship from the NID. You do need to apply separately for it with a ratified attachment declaring that you are a 100% scholarship student from NID.
