Hi, Neha.
Yes there's an astro physics course in India and for studying astro physics or to have masters in astronomy, you have to take maths, physics computers and science in your +2. After the completion of astrophysics you can choose between bachelor's either in physics or engineering.
You can do the specialization in astronomy only in the masters in universities like TIFR, IUCAA, RRI.
Regards.
Hello Neha,
There is an B.Sc Astrophysics course, it is a 3 years course. It involves the study of physical and chemical properties of celestial bodies and the natural phenominas that occur in the universe. It also trains the students in various topics like,
Thermodynamics.
Electromagnetism.
Newtonian Dynamics.
Waves.
Optics.
Modern Physics.
Nuclear and quantam physics.
Solid state physics.
Relativity.
Fluid mechanics and many other topics.
If you are so much into astrology and physics, then you have to choose this stream.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck! will be happy to help with any other doubts.
