As per your tag if you are seeking admission in MBBS course offered by AIIMS then let me make you very clear that for admission to MBBS course in any of the institution either it is AIIMS or any other medical institution, you have to mandatorily appear for NEET because without NEET you cannot get admission in MBBS course not only in India but even in abroad. To be eligible for NEET you should be appearing in your class 12th or should have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and minimum aggregate of 50% is required in each of the three subjects mentioned above if you belongs to General category and if you belongs to any PWD category then you will get horizontal reservation and hence you should have at least 45% and if you belongs to any other reserved category then you should have minimum 45% aggregate.

Also if you are going to appear for NEET 2021 then you must have competed your age of 17 years on December 31st 2021 so and there is no any upper age limit so you can appear for NEET multiple times.

You have tagged aiims mbbs so I am guessing that you are inquiring about MBBS course.

No, there is no separate entrance examination for admission in MBBS in AIIMS .

Earlier there used to be AIIMS MBBS entrance examination but last year it got scrapped off and  now  admission in all the medical colleges including AIIMS for MBBS is through Neet examination only.

One important thing to note is though AIIMS MBBS entrance examination has been scrapped off and now admission is  through Neet examination but percentage requirement in 12th to be eligible for Aiims  is still the same .

For your reference,

Aiims eligibility criteria is given below:-

to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology and English and must have got:-

• at least  60  % in aggregate of PCB and English   in 12th examination  if belongs to general /obc category

• at least  50%  in aggregate of PCB and English if belongs to st/ Sc

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB and English in case of general pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for Aiims 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old  by 31st December 2021

As admission in aiims is thorough neet , so you need to appear in neet and thus you need to be eligible for it as well. To be eligible for neet 2021 one must be either appearing for  12th board examination 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category.
