Dear Anant, yes. MCI has passed guidelines to all Medical Colleges to accomodate EWS reservation. Almost 25 seats in every Government Medical College have been increased to accomodate EWS reservation. While not every Private Medical College has come forward with accomodating EWS reservation, recently the Health Ministry has announced that approximately 5500 MBBS seats have been added across all Medical Colleges in India to accomodate EWS Category.
