Manipal institute of technology is one of the finest private colleges in India. To get admission one has to have Math and physics as compulsory subjects in 10+2 and score at least 50% to be eligible for MET i.e. the entrance exam. After entrance exam, a merit list is prepared on the basis of MET score and the counselling process starts. therefore, there is no interview for betch at Manipal institute of technology.

Manipal University Admission process is depends on the merit list of the entrance test. Admission is based on the scores obtained in the University's entrance tests or the national level entrance test. Direct admission is also available and it is based on the marks of the qualifying exam.
