B-tech course for diploma students is a 3 years program as they have already completed 3 years of diploma course.
The diploma students can directly get admission in the 2nd year of b-tech. In this b.tech course, a diploma student doesn't have to leave the job and can improve their career with the program side by side.

Dear Applicant yes the Diploma students do have the opportunity to take admission as a Lateral Entry student into the B.Tech curriculum in their second year. After you have successfully completed your two years diploma course, you can take admission in the B.Tech course in the second year and pursue it, if you are capable of achieving both the degrees successfully then you have more working experience or practical experience along with the theoritical knowledge that you gathered in the B.Tech study.
