The basic eligibility criteria for B.Optom. course (3yrs.+ 1 yr. internship) in SRM Institute of Science and Technology is -

The candidate must have H.S.C / (+2) or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and any one from Mathematics / Biology / Botany and Zoology with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Yes, to pursue this course, you will have to appear in a Computer based test i.e. SRMJEEH-UG, conducted by the University. The test is of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration and consists of total 125 marks.

Those candidates who have completed their 10+2 with an aggregate of minimum of 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology can apply for the SRMJEEH 2020.
