it is not possible to get seat in NIT Wrangal without IIT JEE. It is compulsory to give JEE exam.

if you want to take admission in NIT wrangal .it depends on your rank but not the marks.

General:

Rank around 24k (Marks-140) will get you seat in NIT Warangal with branch BIOTECHNOLGY (Least preferred branch).

Rank around 12–13K(Marks-165–170) will get you branches like Civil and Chemical.

Rank around 6–7k (Marks-190–195) will get you branches like Mechanical and electrical.

Rank around 4k( Marks-225) will get you ECE branch.

Rank around 1K (Marks-250+) will get you CSE branch.

OBC:

Rank around 38k (Marks-115) will get you seat in NIT Warangal with branch BIOTECHNOLGY (Least preferred branch).

Rank around 19–20K(Marks-145) will get you branches like Civil and Chemical.

Rank around 9–10K (Marks-180) will get you branches like Mechanical and electrical.

Rank around 8K( Marks-185) will get you ECE branch.

Rank round 4K (Marks-225) will get you CSE branch.

SC:

Rank around 1lac (Marks-75) will get you seat in NIT Warangal with branch BIOTECHNOLGY (Least preferred branch).

Rank around 70–80K(Marks-85) will get you branches like Civil and Chemical.

Rank around40–50K (Marks-100) will get you branches like Mechanical and electrical.

Rank around 30K( Marks-125) will get you ECE branch.

ST:

If you belong to this category don’t worry you will get IIT, NITs are not good for you.Just pass the exam in your category.

Rank around 1.7lac (Marks-50–55) will get you seat in NIT Warangal with branch BIOTECHNOLGY (Least preferred branch).

Rank around 1lac(Marks-75) will get you branches like Chemical.

Rank around 50K (Marks-90–95) will get you branches like Mechanical electrical, Civil and ECE.

A General category student give almost same preference to Civil and Chemical but these people give more preference to Civil because they know after 4 years they will be part of any good government organization, again by using reservation.

Rank around 25K (Marks-140) will get you CSE branch.

Marks that I have written is with respect to JEE 2018.Above stats are for other state student. Home state students will get little relaxation on ranks.

You have to appear and qualify JOINT ENTRANCE TEST 2020 for admission to National Institute of Technology Warangal. There is no direct admission or no admission without joint entrance test . Admission is strictly based on score of Jee main.
