Frankly speaking, the northeastern states of India are not yet developed in the field of genetics. There are certain colleges like Assam agricultural University, providing courses such as sericulture and and plant breeding, but at MSc level. You can study genetics in different Colleges across in India providing best quality genetics course. Some of the Colleges are-
* Dayanand sagar Institute, Banglore
* AWH Special College, Calicut
* Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
* Dyal Singh college, new Delhi
