As far as I am concerned there are no such remarkable placements in mbbs colleges,as an intern ,as an assistant you can gain experience as much as you can and then you can find a job easily to shape up your capabilities.

You dont get any placement in top government hospitals like AIIMS and PGI chandigarh just by doing MBBS. You may work on contract basis as JR for a maximum period of 2 years. The work during this period is 1.5 times more hectic than a computer engg in a MNC. Although the starting salary here seems equal to what top MNC in India pay to a software engg, but the catch is that as soon as you finish your two years, you will have to search for job in other govt. and pvt. sectors. Private will give you around 60–1 lakh depending on the working conditions. If you work 12 hrs a day in ICU you may get upto 1 lakh per month in good multispeciality hospitals only in good places that too only in north india that too mostly in Delhi NCR area. If you want the best govt. job as MBBS after JRship then you can either join Indian army or you can write UPSC CMS exam and can join Indian railways or CGHS or NDMC or MCD hospitals. Last two give postings in delhi. first two give posting anywhere in India.

Hello dear student,
Actually there's no placement in medical colleges, Actually , Medical College don't have the concept of campus placements unlike engineering where campus placements takes place.
Most of the mbbs graduates go for pg , some start their own clinic while few join hospitals as junior resident.
