Hi,
Yes there is a course of llb for 3years. It is pursued after doing graduation and it is imperative that student has pursued graduation in any discipline and then shall be eligible for a 3 yr course in law.
Earlier The age limit decided by Bar council of india was  45 years for 3yr course but later it was removed .
But in this course students have not the option to choose any subjects but have to study the subjects prescribed by the university.

Yes, there is llb of 3 years. Actually, there's both 3 year and 5 year llb.

You have the option to pursue llb in two ways:-

  • 5 year llb /integrated llb like BA llb, Bcom llb etc :- One becomes eligible for 5 year integrated LLB like BA LLB etc with qualification of 10 + 2


  • 3 year llb :- for 3 year llb , you need to be  a graduate.


Eligibility criteria for 3 year LLB  :-

* You need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University

* The minimum % of marks in graduation to be eligible for 3 year LLB varies depending upon the college or the entrance examination you are opting for, generally one needs a minimum of 45 to 50% in graduation to be eligible

* There is no upper age limit to be eligible for LLB .

Some of the entrance examination for 3 year LLB are listed below :-

  • *DU LLB

  • *LSAT

  • *PU LLB

  • *BVP CET Law

  • *LPU NEST

  • *TS LAWCET

  • *MH CET Law

  • *BHU LLB

  • *LAT by Allahabad University


You can also pursue 5 year integrated LLB  after class 12th. Some of the entrance examination for 5 year integrated LLB   is provided below :-

  • *CLAT i. e Common Law Admission Test

  • *AILET - All India Law Entrance Test

  • *LSAT - Law School Admission Test

  • *MHCET law entrance exam

  • *TS LAWCET

  • *LPUNEST

  • *CULEE

To give you a gist of eligibility criteria,

CLAT  eligibility criteria for 5-year integrated llb  is given below :-

*You must be either appearing for your 12th board examination or should have passed it

*You must  pass your 12th board exam with at least 45% marks while SC and ST category students need only 40% marks.

*There is no age limit for CLAT
