Is there necessary to have BA psychology to pursue MA in psychology.
Dear Student,
Greetings.
The minimum eligibility for this course is a Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate score. However, there are some institutes that may require the candidates to have an Honors undergraduate degree in Psychology or Psychology as a subject in Graduation for becoming eligible for this course. So yes it is necessary.
Hey Mukesh.
No, it is no compulsory to have a BA Psychology degree to pursue a masters in Psychology. In most of the institutes the eligibility criteria for a masters in Psychology is around 45-50% marks in your undergraduate degree in any field. But in a few reputed institutes UG in Psychology is compulsory. Hence you need to find a college where it is not compulsory.
Best of luck
