is there negative marking in upes

Hello,

Candidates are given 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam. It is a 2 hour centre based examination conducted in online mode. The exam will have 5 sections. It is not as difficult in comparison to JEE-Mains and BITSAT, VIT and SRM exams. But little bit difficult if you compare it with other state entrances for engineering.

UPES, Dehradun conducted an entrance test UPESEAT for admission to B.Tech courses in different spe cializations and there is no negative marking in UPESEAT also the examination is going on currently. Today i.e. April 2nd is the last day of an examination.

UPESEAT exam pattern :-

>>>>> There are two types of test, one is Center based test which consists of total 200 questions (MCQs) which are further divided in following categories :-

• Mathematics- 50,
• Physics-50,
• Chemistry- 50,
• English Language Comprehension- 30,

Second one is Online test which consists of total 125 questions(MCQs) which are further divided in following categories :-
