Is there negative marks for jipmer 2018 ug entrance ?

Negative marking has been introduced in jipmer from 2018 the marking pattern stands 4 marks for a correct answer and - 1 marks for an incorrect answer and 0 marks will be awarded for unattempted answer

Yes. You are correct. Jipmer has made some changes in the marking scheme which is as :-
+4 for marking Correct Response
-1 for marking Incorrect Response
0 marks for unattempted question.

As per the exam pattern of JIPMER 2018, a candidate will be allotted four marks for every correct response, while for the first time, one mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for questions marked for review or left unattempted.
