Firstly, the test is conducted offline and test comprises of 4 sections - Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics respectively. And the type of questions asked are of multiple choice questions(MCQ's). And there is negative marking scheme too for every correct answer you will be rewarded with 3 marks and for every incorrect answer your score will be deducted by -1. And the total count of the questions are 60 and these questions are divided into 4 sections respectively and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.

IISER stands for Ind institute of Science Education and research Institute. The Aptitude exam is for 180 Marks. Questions are MCQ's and the subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology. 45 Marks for each Subject. There are 15 Questions from each Subject. The Correct answer will be awarded 3 Marks and a negative of 1 Mark for each wrong answer.
Yes there's a negative marking in the IISER APTOTUDE TEST. So this examination is basically divided into four different subjects and they are PCMB ie Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. For every correct answer you get +3 and -1 negative marking is deducted for every incorrect answer.
