After 12th commerce, admission criteria for Bachelors degree usually varies in all colleges. In majority colleges admission is merit based but a few conduct entrance exams. Below is a detailed information regarding commerce entrance examination.

1. IPMAT 2019- Online test

• IPMAT is National level integrated entrance test  for 5-year management programme conducted by IIM Indore for 12th pass students.
• It is a computer mode based test conducted in the month of May.
• The test emphasizes on mainly two important aspects, quantative ability which includes both multiple choice and short answer questions and verbal ability includes only multiple choice .

2.IPU CET 2019-Written test

• The Indraprastha University, the conducting body of the exam The University will conduct the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University CET BBA 2019 in the last week of May 2019.
  
  
• There are various programs that are  covered- B.Tech, B.Com.(Hons),  B.Sc. Economics, BBA, B.Sc. Finance, B.Des, BMS etc.
• Syllabus for the exam includes Arithmetic, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Business and General Awareness, English Language.

3. NMIMS -NPAT 2019- Online test

• NMIMS-NPAT 2019 is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate and Integrated Degree Programs conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore & Dhule Campuses.
• The exam will be conducted in the first week of May 2019.
• There are various programs that are covered under NPAT like B.Tech, B.Com.(Hons),  B.Sc. Economics, BBA, B.Sc. Finance, B.Des etc.
• Paper-1 is common for all candidates and covers 3 subjects: Quantitative & Numerical ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence and Proficiency in English Language and Paper 2 is to be taken by candidates applying for B.Des Program.

4. Delhi University

All colleges affiliated with Delhi University have the option to take admission either on the basis of merit or on the basis of entrance test. The programs classified under these categories are:

Merit Based Courses:

• Faculty of Arts-- B.A. Prog., B.A. (Hons.) in Arabic, Bengali, English, French, German, Italian,Hindi, Persian, Philosophy, Psychology, Applied Psychology, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Spanish, and Urdu.
• Faculty of Social Sciences-- B.A. (Hons.) in Economics, Geography, History, Political Sciences, Social Work, and Sociology.
• Faculty of Commerce & Business Studies-- B.Com, B.Com(Hons)

Entrance Based Course

• Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities--B.A. (Honours) Business Economics,BMS, BBA (Financial Investment Analysis)
• Cluster Innovation Centre--B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations), B.A. (Honours) Humanities and Social Sciences
• Indraprastha College for Women --B.A. (Honours) Multimedia and Mass Communication
• Music and Fine Arts --Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Hindustani Music- Vocal/Instrumental, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Karnatak Music- Vocal/Instrumental, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Percussion Music (Tabla/Pakhawaj)
• Faculty of Social Sciences--Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism in Delhi School of Journalism.

For Professional courses such as Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary and Cost Accountancy, Foundation level Programme is conducted in the form of entrance exam as the first level of these courses. All these courses are regulated under autonomous bodies governed by the acts of parliament.
