Pharm. D. graduates can work as community practitioners, prescribing drugs for chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular ailments, among others. They can also function as pharmacists, drug interaction specialists, and dietitians. There are also a lot of work opportunities for Pharm. D students. Pharm. D is a six-year programme for doctoral level students. The average compensation ranges from Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. Graduates with a Pharm. D degree can work in both the commercial and public sectors. The programme provides a wide range of Pharm. D work prospects, which have arisen as a result of the public's need for better healthcare services.

After completing this degree, the students can work in the following positions in India:
