Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune is a private institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University which was established in the year 1983, it has been accredited  NAAC 'A++', it offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate engineering programs, but it doesn't offer any polytechnic courses like diploma in Engineering . It does offer B Tech Lateral Entry for computer science engineering which eligibility is passed diploma course in the relevant field of engineering with 45% marks from a recognized institution. In case of SC/ST there's relaxations of 5% marks. Or those who have completed BSc with 45% aggregate from a recognized university with maths as a subject at 10+2, in case of reserved categories there's relaxation of 5% marks.
