It came into effect for first time this year neet 2019.so you don't have to worry about these things and you will definitely get 10 percent of reservations if you get your certificate made for economically weaker section.

Dear Madhura, Yes, EWS quota will be applicable for NEET 2020. Infact this has made compulsory from this session only i.e 2019-2020.

• According to latest available Information Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) through an official notice has issued a clarification on Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category admissions.
• The EWS category will be put into force from the academic year 2019-2020 in Medical, Dental, Pharmacy and Nursing institutions.
• Any candidate who is not a beneficiary of existing category reservation is eligible for admission under EWS category reservation.
• As per the official notice, the qualifying percentile for the EWS category is 50, which is equivalent to the cutoff for General category.
