Not necessary but it's better if you do from it because the pattern is much of cbse only. The end goal should be to clear the concepts and to learn things that's it books actually don't matter when you are able to develop confidence and SOLVE papers. Give some mock tests, test yourself and accordingly judge the worthy things for self.
