NEET is mandatory to study MBBS in abroad and in India.NEET is an entrance exam for admission in MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS etc.To become an eye specialist you must first complete your MBBS and then do your post graduation specialized in opthomology or optometry to become an eye specilist.

Neet examination is mandatory to qualify for MBBS , BDS etc even if you want to pursue them in foreign countries.

Now, if you want to become eye specialist i.e ophthalmologist, only doing MBBS will not help you, to become a ophthalmologist , after completing your MBBS you need to go for post-graduation in Ophthalmology and then only you can become an eye specialist i.e ophthalmologist
