Till 2014 it was possible to switch schools after 11 or inbetween 11th.

but after that this facility has been closed.

so now you can not change your school.

but I suggest you to meet once to the regional board officer.

Hope you are doing well.

According to me,it might be possible to switch school after 11th standard provided you are belong to the same board in which you were previously studying.Say if you are currently studying in a CBSE board,as you mentioned ,you can be accepted in another school,if even that belongs to CBSE board.

But it is always suggested that you do not switch school or board at such a crucial stage of your studies,it will create problems for you.You will have to adjust a lot in terms of the teachers,slightly books or course even,Exam pattern and other things as well.So,its always better you study both 11th and 12th standard in the same school.Well,then its again all up to you.
