Hi

NEET Criteria is still the same, that is :-

Neet eligibility criteria says that, to be eligible one must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if belong to general category , or  at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st

JEE Mains criteria is also still the same :-

Eligibility criteria says that to be eligible  for JEE mains 2020 for BE or Btech you just must be either appearing for 12th board exam in 2020 or should have passed it in 2019 or 2018 with Physics,  mathematics and anyone of Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical Vocational Subject.

Relaxation is only for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs

To be eligible for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs etc one needs at least  75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least  65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or  must be in the top 20 percentile in  class 12 examination.
,
But, for this year this percentage barrier has been removed, and to be eligible for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs one needs to be just past to pass 12th , there's no minimum percentage required

Thankyou

Along with qualifying Jee Main, there is another criteria for being eligible for Jee Advanced and for getting admitted to NITs, IIITs and other centrally fundednd universities, that is the candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12. 5% relaxation in marks for Sc, St and pwd candidates. Or the candidates should be within top 20 percentile of their respective Class 12 boards. And top 20 percentile means that you are ahead of 80% of the people of your respective board. The subjects considered to calculate these marks are - PCM, a language with highest score, another subject other than these four where you have got highest marks. But this year it's different. As all the subjects of class 12 of several boards have not conducted and marks have been provided on the basis of internal assessment and previous exam marks, many students have affected by these. So this year, the criteria of at least 75% or top 20 percentile has been scrapped for this year and among the candidates who have passed 12th examination and have met the Jee Main qualifying cutoff will be eligible to sit for Jee Advanced 2020. And this year, this 75% marks criteria has been withdrawn for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs etc. But no change in Neet Eligibility criteria. It is as same as last years'.
