Yes, Universal Guide to LLB is a very good book for law preparation as well as TSLAWCET. It has huge set of questions of various categories. It has an amazing collection of General Knowledge questions and hence, it is advisable.
But, it is not sufficient for the entire preparation. It fails to cover every areas, so try other reference material as well.
