UPES Dehradun is definitely a well - known college established in the year 2003. It has a good placement record with highest CTC INR 45 LAC in 2020. They have a great faculty and the classes are focused on practical knowledge. The campus buildings are modern and have all necessary equipment with projectors in each class. The campus is surrounded by mountains and greenery.
10% of the seats are reserved for admission on the basis of board (class 12th) marks. You can definitely get admission in CS or IT branch if you clear the cut off percentage for admission in respective branches. Minimum 80% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary Level (classes 10th and 12th) and Minimum 80% aggregate in PCM in class 12th is required to be eligible for admission process.
UPESEAT exam is comparatively easier than JEE mains. The marking scheme is +1 for correct and 0 negative marking. Practicing previous year questions is very useful in cracking this exam.
