Is VIT 5 years integrated MTECH programme is best???
hey sunny
There are so many advantages , here are some of the quick facts about software engineering
- The SE engineering program although falls behind from IT, CSE in research and placements, it’s growing gradually.
- You’ll graduate with a Master’s degree, so you don’t have to waste a year studying for a masters separately.
- If you find the right seniors, they’ll help you out with placements, studying , etc.
- Many of the Software engineering students are outgoing and helpful, you won’t have social anxiety problems.
- It’s relatively easier to score good grades in your class, so you can get a good GPA when you graduate or when you attend placements.
- Software engineering is mostly comprised of students from Andhra, Telengana and Tamil Nadu, South Indian population, so it’s easier to get along and make friends.
- The revised curriculum has some excellent courses that can lead you to choosing your career path easily.
- Many faculties are kind and interactive, so you can always drop by your favorite faculty’s cabin if you feel down or if you have a query.
- There’s an excellent mini-project work for 8-credit hours, that’s going to be valuable.
Conclusion:
I will not be biased so I am not going to tell you if you should/should not take the course but think about it, take a decision that is in the best interest of you. Don’t join the program just because you secured a bad rank in the VITEEE and you want to badly study in VIT because if you do that, then you’ll regret your decision. But if you’re genuinely interested in doing an M.Tech then you should go for it.
