Let's compare the two colleges based on some important criterion:

Placement

VIT: median salary - 4.50 lakhs. Highest 11 lakhs

SRM: median: 3.8 Lakhs. Highest 8 lakhs

FEE

VIT : 8 lakhs

SRM: 10 lakhs

Also the faculty of VIT is better than SRM. So I would say VIT is better.
