VIT-AP is a great place to study in terms of infrastructure curriculum and faculties . The placements are also great. As per the official website, the VIT-AP has done two LIMCA recording for the placements of the students.
Engineering at VIT is definitely worth it . It doesn't matter in which college you are studying as long as you work hard with full dedication and conviction towards your goal.
