Well known fact is that BITS Hyderabad is itself a brand and highly sophisticated college.

Through personal experience I suggest the best college in Hyderabad would be BITS.

Placement opportunities , infrastructure,life etc are excellent at this campus.

Now,

VIT ,Vellore is most prestigious institution in South India.

There is management or NRI quota here.Friendly environment I say at this place and no peer pressure.

It isn't bad but BITS is a brand which pays you at the end in all aspects.

If talking generally bits Hyderabad campus is a lot better than vit vellore. Vit has a bit lower value than bits in all aspects. Even BITS have more brand value and good procedure for the placement and all.

Last thing depends on the branch and stream you are getting at bits Hyderabad,  if you are getting good branch there then you should go for it.
