You are asking to compare two different courses from two different courses. CSE and civil are two completely different branches with their own merits and demerits. CSE is the most demanding branch hence there are more placement opportunities in this course than civil whereas the competition level in civil is lower than that of CSE hence it will be easy to get a good package here. But at the end the possibility of success in any course depends upon your knowledge of the subject if you want to do CSE then VIT is probably a better option.
