Yeah off course vit vellore is worthwhile for taking admission whether it is boy or a girl. As you asked regarding the safety of girls. As far as my point point of view they have

1. Separate mess as well hostel, playing courts for girls

2. In campus, girls and boys are allow to roam till 9:00 p.m after that security won't allow them to walk together.

3. Eventhough girls warden are also very strict which strictly follow the time and routine of university. They will not allow an girl to go outside for normal reasons as well boys are also not allowed to enter inside girls hostel at any time.

So overall vit has a good girls security instructions. Don't bother about that
