Not only watch, candidates are advised to not to wear even jewellery like earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklace, bracelet or anklets. Metal detectors may cause unnecessary hassle if the metal is found on the person.
Generally, wall clocks are hung in the examination hall for the convinience of students.

According to the dress code mentioned by NTA for NEET 2020, the candidates will not be allowed to wear ornaments like ring, earrings, chain, watch and so on inside the examination hall. Therefore, make sure you remove all the ornaments before entering the examination centre. Also, belts are not allowed.
