Hi
As per your question according to the data For Delhi University you'll got to apply with the OBC
certificate issued by the central government.
Only the centralized OBC certificate is currently accepted in Delhi University for your undergraduate
programme. State OBC certificate isn't taken into consideration.
So once you are applying confirm you've got this certificate and if you do not have one apply for it first
then once you catch on , apply for DU.
So please check the certificate which you have if it’s a central certificate then you can go for it.
Here is that the list of documents that candidates got to upload during the DU online registration
process 2020: -
Class X Certificate or Mark Sheet
Class XII Provisional/ Original Certificate/ Mark Sheet
Recent Character Certificate
Transfer/ Migration Certificate
Recent Passport Size Photograph
Scanned Signature
PWD/ ST/ SC certificate (Only for the candidates belonging to those categories)
OBC - NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (if applicable)
Income Certificate (OBC-NCL)
Kashmir Migrant Certificate (Only those applying under Kashmir Migrant Quota)
Educational Concession Certificate (Only CW Quota)
Hope helpful.
If you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category . For example, the community you belong to in West Bengal is listed in State OBC list and that is the reason you have been eligible for OBC Certificate. Now in Delhi that might not be the case. The Community you belong to might be listed in General Category for Delhi. In such case you cannot reap OBC benefits in Delhi because in Delhi that Community is listed under General Category. So you need to check if the Community you belong to is listed in Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered General Category for admission to Delhi.
