Hello student!
It is a good college if you want to study rather than enjoying it.

Placements:Placement for chemical engineering at NITC is between 35% to 60%. It usually varies every year. During our batch at NITC placements were around 50%. Placement in core companies is difficult because very few companies visit the campus. The highest salary package offered was around 30 LPA in non-core companies and 14 LPA in core companies. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. For an internship, only one or two companies visit the campus. Students got an internship in Reliance and Vedanta.

Infrastructure:NITC has the rule of 80% attendance. The chemical engineering department in NITC is strict. Every week you have to do a lab. You can't miss it. Otherwise, you could lose your grades. The library is not available department wise, but there is a NITC central library. Wi-Fi is available 24x7 all over the campus as well in the department also. Classrooms also good. NITC is located in Kerela so you will get Malayalam food. If you are from the north, then you may not like the food. NITC has its own health centre so you will get free medicine. As all the national-level college has sports facilities, so NITC also has sports and tournaments. They also celebrate a sports week where every student gets a chance to participate and win medals.

Faculty:Teachers are really helpful if you are interested in studies. They are well qualified and have done their masters from abroad. The course is relevant to the basics of chemical engineering, but it does not make students ready to the industries as the Indian educational system is like that only.

Other:In this course, you will get many opportunities in the research area. I am really interested in research, so I choose this course. In chemical engineering, you will get much scope in abroad for research if I get a chance to change something in our course then I would like to change the curriculum which should be based on practical current industrial or real-life problems. NITC has two fests called Ragam and Tathva. Ragam is a cultural event, while Tathva is a technical event. Every year there is much crowd in both of the events. Students from different universities and schools come to participate in the event. There is a national scholarship for which you can apply. It is provided by the government of India for the students studying in national college.

Hope this helps you!
Regards!
