IT and CSE which is best what subject is different in CSE and IT
Hello!
IT and CSE are almost similar to each other. Infact, you can say IT is a sub branch of Computer Science. Even when it comes to campus placements, usually IT and CS are preferred equally (though there are some companies that prefer CS students over IT for some matter). When it comes to curriculum, almost all subjects are same. They might be taught in different semesters and may be the depth of contents and the topcis covered may vary to some degree, but both focus the same. A few colleges though teach Theory of Computation for CS students only. And the choice for object oriented programming language may be different for both IT and CS. It can also vary in number of electives for both branches in particular semester.
Rest, both the subjects are like twin sisters.
Now, if you want to select between the two, then I would say choose according to the college. Because faculties are different and so may be the placements records for both branches. If in case, both are branches have equal placement record and well trained academic faculty and the same degree of exposure to non curricular activities too, then probably you can choose CS over IT.
Hope this would help!
