Hi Shubham,

Generally, the first few paychecks of IT graduates are more than that of ECE graduates. But with time if you're in decent company, their income becomes almost equal.

If you're in decent college companies like Samsung, Qualcomm, Intel recruits ECE graduates.

Whereas companies like Microsoft, Amazon, JPMC recruit you if you're CSE graduate.

All the best

Hello,

IT (Information technology) and ECE(Electronics and communication engineering) these are two of most common and famous branches among the engineering students now a days.

You can expect good jobs in both the domains but if you achieve PSU or core job in ECE branch your packages will start from more than 10 lakhs per annum but in IT branch these packages are rare.

An ECE student can work in both EC and IT domain. And the salary for both of them is same in some mass recruiting companies.
