Hello,
NCERT is known to be the best study material for NEET. In fact, according to previous year's toppers as well, studying thoroughly from NCERT is the best preparation strategy. To know more about his, candidates can also follow this link: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/are-ncert-books-enough-for-cracking-neet
Thank you
Yes ncert at your finger tips is the most rated book for NEET examination preparation as this book contains mcqs completely based on the the ncert text books so you are going in the right path for the NEET examination preparation just I would recommend you to keep handy your ncert textbooks too so that you don't miss any concepts
hey prerna, i have read the books NCERT at your finger tips. i would like to tell you this. read ncert book thoroughly, page by page, cover to cover. when i gave the exam i calculated around 310 marks out of 360 to be just from ncert text book, so make that thorough before going to any book. and this ncert at your finger tips was able to cover may be another 10 or 20 marks or so. the rest solely depends on how well you understand and apply whatever u learn, that said,do note that there are many good books out there ofcourse, and when it comes to physics and chemistry, try to solve as much as questions as you can, check analyse and rectify, then learn. good luck
If you read "just" NCERT and NCERT at finger tips then you might get 280 or so in biology but to score more you have to come up with other reference books too since you can't rely on just one type of book because if you are using only one type of book that contains either high level or low level questions but if you go through previous year papers you will find that some questions are silly or easy but tricky so to manage that use another book along with that .
I'm not at all saying that this isn't a good book but approach would be like 1. Read NCERT 2. Solve from NCERT at finger tips 3. Either solve previous year question papers or go for other publications too.
Also I'm not stressing over it enough that how many times you need to revise NCERT biology cause I think everyone knows that even a hundred times is underrated. So now you know your benchmark.
Get to work.
Hope you score well.
Good luck.
Because the paper is made by cbse and their syllabus is NCERT .
But some questions Come other than the NCERT .
So to conclude do NCERT at its core but read little bit extra while doing questions and revision.
prefer a few other books to help u with questions.
Hope it helps you.

Hi Prerna Yadav,
Although NCERT at Fingertips is a good book but as per my personal experiances, the level of question is not of the level of NEET. As in NEET, direct question are asked which are sometimes tricky too.
The better option is to Study and Learn NCERT thoroughy and revice previous years paper and sample paper of NEET. Alongwith this, you can also try Mock tests conducted both online and offline for better experiances.
NEET is based on the NCERT syllabus. Just reading that books only may not be sufficient. It depends on how you apply the concepts to the questions asked in the exam.
So, go through the pervious year questions, give mocks and read other books. This will help you assess yourself and fetch more marks.
