Hello ,

As your query is you want to know whether is it compulsory to attend the round 1 of counselling because you want to take part in the round 2 of counselling. I would like to tell you that it is compulsory to attend the round 1 of counselling in which you might get a college seat alloted in round 1 of counselling and for the further process of round 2 you need to have the details of round 1 counselling because of which you have to attend the round 1.

In some of the cases we have seen that people not avail themselves in the round 1 of counselling because they think that in the round 2 they will get a better option and they end up losing the college they might get allotted in round 1 so in my opinion it is better that don't just drop this opportunity and attend the round 1 of counselling.

I hope your query is solved.

Thank you.
