Hello Rushikesh,
It is nothing like compulsory. It depends mainly on you and your choice. if you are really interested in doing the course,you should probably go for it. You can opt for a good career in it as long as you are interested in that subject and if not, the I should ask you not to think of it and go for any course where your interest does really lie and trust me you will have a good career ahead.
