It is compulsory to have math in BSc or in 12th for msc in chemistry for jnu.

In order to opt for MSc chemistry in JNU , you need to have a bachelor's degree with chemistry as one of your main subject under the 10+2+3 pattern of education with 55% marks in the aggregate or in Chemistry, physics and mathematics combined or in chemistry honours.

Hans Raj College, Delhi University
Also it is not compulsory to have mathematics for this course as eligibility criteria says that you must have done graduation (B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the main subjects), with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates).
