it is mentioned that photo in the id should be identical with that of our appearance at the time of exam. what if we shaved our hair or started growing hair long? will it be a problem?

According to the statement "The photo should be identical with that of the candidate's appearance", it means that the student should not upload the photograph of someone else or an edited photo. It should be your recent passport sized photo preferably clicked 3 months back. The shaving or growing of hair do not matter since the facial appearance looks the same on a passport sized photo.
