IT or ECE which is better from government college
Information technology: Where you learn about processors, compilers develop algorithms, data structure, ML, AI, etc. But at the end of the day, it all comes down to your coding skills. Companies recruit you on the basis of how good a coder you are.
Electronics and communication: Well you learn about microcontrollers, VLSI, IoT, Robotics and communication but keeping in mind that you have to learn to code anyhow. And if you are dedicated enough you can use your little bit of coding knowledge on sites like codechef and develop your algorithms alongside.
It depends on your interest. Placement wise IT has a greater edge than ECE.
If you choose, you can apply for jobs in core sector and PSUs.
Hello Aspirant,
First of all the choice is completely yours.
IT and ECE both have same number of placements and scope. IT engineers mainly have the skills in coding and all the software related stuff is learnt. That menas they will have the knowledge of AI, DL, ML, cloud computing, etc.
Coming to ECE, it deals with the electronics and communications. This branch of engineering is emerging in the present scenario. This branch have good scope in the future.
At the end of the day if you aim for a job the best choice will be IT and there in future ECE will also be the great option.
Hope this will help you. Good Luck.
Dear Aspirant ! Both are good branches. Now it entirely depends on your college. Every college has its best branch by this I mean in every college there which has the best placements. So find which one is your colleges' best branch and then choose wisely.
