For applying B.Tech in Marine Engineering Course , you need to opt 11 and 12 and pass 12th qualifying exam from any recognized board as the entrance exam topics includes the topics from 11th and 12th.

You must need the following documents apart from exam  to get admission in Marine Engineering :

• Character Certificate

If you have completed your ITI then you can take admission to the course of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. But for most of the cases, if you want to go for the course of Diploma in Marine Engineering, then you need to have 10+2.

So go for the Diploma in mechanical engineering through later entry which means that you will be provided admission directly to the 2nd year of the Diploma.

After your Diploma you can take admission to the BTech Marine engineering or Btech Mechanical Engineering through Lateral entry. A large number of Mechanical Engineers works in the field of the Marine Engineering, so you can obviously pursue that.
