Hey,

After pursuing B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, the candidate must seek for jobs in their core fields either. You should be looking for dignified jobs according to your stream. Working as a CNC operator, will not help in evolving your mechanical skills. Mostly, CNC operator work is done by candidates passing from ITI's.
Although, CNC programmer has great future ahead. As it will add up to your skills which will help you in becoming more employable. If you are looking a short job, then CNC operator is also a good option, it is far better than remaining idle.
All the Best!
