There is more such fast and hard rule about the submission of documents,  but most of the engineering colleges do keep your documents with them at the time of admission.



They may return your documents after some days.

SUBMITTING ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS IN THE COLLEGE AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

depends upon the authorities inn the college if they ask for the original documents.

Generally, there is no need to submit the original documents , you just have to submit the photostat documents.

At the latest, they'll just ask to show the original documents not to submit it.

I hope you are doing good. Now Coming to your query, Yes Jayram you have to submit Original documents like Marks Memo of 10th, 12th, Income certificate, Income certificate, Study Certificate, Transfer Certificate, etc to the college after getting admitted before the due date. Don't worry they will return back after 4 years completed.
