See when it comes to IIM-A-B-C Nc-Obc category students have profiles almost similar to those in general category and sometimes even better than them.

So please dont expect them to be loose on you for beinf Nc-obc because competition is very stiff up there.

Moreover you are from Bcom background that will instead help alot giving u an edge over others due to profile diversity.

Otherwise with the profile you have it is very difficult to endup in IIM-A

If you get time develop extracurriculars and get as much certificates as you can they do help alot!!

As you have 75 percent in 12th grade. So, try to secure above 98 to 99 percentile in your cat exam. Secondly, don't go just by the previous year cut-off score. There will be a huge difference between short-listing percentile and cut-off percentile. So, prepare well and ace it.

Hi Chandan! Your past academic records are pretty decent. As per the admission criteria of IIM Ahmedabad 2019-21 batch, the shortlist criteria mention that OBC-NC candidates should obtain 65 percentile in sections and overall 75 percentile. However, this is just the minimum percentile mentioned and obtaining above 75 percentile won't guarantee a call or final admission offer. This would depend on other factors like the percentiles and profiles of other applicants. Hence, if you aim to secure above 85 percentile, you may stand a chance of getting IIM A call. All the best!
