I've cleared my class 12th CBSE as i was pass in 5 out of 6 subjects. Am i eligible for CLAT? Will i face problems during counselling?
The minimum eligibility criteria to be able to take Common Law Entrance Test that is,CLAT is that you must have qualified Higher Secondary School/Intermediate or equivalent examination from 10+2 education system from a recognised board. The minimum marks that one must secure is 45 percent in aggregate of the total marks and for reserved categories it is 40 percent.
You are eligible to take CLAT if you have received the passing certificate from the CBSE Board as all you need is an overall passing certificate during counselling.
In any case you are eligible to appear for CLAT even if you have got supplementary in your paper provided you clear it and produce the proof of you passing the exam during counselling.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
