I've filled category section wrong in my du app. form, is there a way to correct it? or can i resubmit a new form?(I don't want my form to be rejected because of duplicate applications) I've tried contacting them on their helpdesk email adrs but the mail delivery keeps getting failed. (merit based)

There is a correction window for DU application form correction. Application correction window was supposed to begin from Third week of August to Second week of September but it is not yet opened may be due to the ongoing pandemic. Keep an eye on the official website you might find the correction window soon. Try calling them instead of mailing them you might have better chances of getting a reply. You will find the contact number in the official website.
