I've got a college in comedk round 1 counseling but I have rejected since I'm aiming to get into a better college through round 2&3.However the seat matrix shows there aren't any vacancies open in those colleges..will I be able to get a seat in those colleges (the colleges are within my rank range)

Hello,

The seats which are vacant after the round 1 of COMEDK Counselling are considered for filling in  subsequent rounds. So you cannot get admission in the institute for which there are no vacant seats under the category you belong to even if your rank is within the previous cut off trend. The seat allotment is based on factors such as total number of candidates applied for counselling, category of the candidate, merit of the candidate, vacancies preferences of institute and branch.

Is it advisable to participate in further rounds of comedk counseling even if seats in good and average colleges are taken?
