Hello,

Ug means undergraduate degree and B.A (bachelors in arts ) is an undergraduate degree.  B.A can be simple or (hons) I.e in a specific subject. Other than B.A u have many undergraduate program like : BCA, BHM, BSC, Bcom, BBA, BDMS .etc

MA is a postgraduate program and can only be done after your bachelor's I.e B.A .

Other then MA you have options like ,MSC (after bsc), Mcom(after Bcom), MBA(after BBA), MHM(after BHM) and so no.

I hope this will suffice your problem.

Hello Zaheeda,

If you want to do BA and MA, then both course is one after other.

After competing BA then you can take admission in MA.

BA is bachelor degree (UG) and MA is master degree (PG).

Thank you.

Hi..

BA is a three-year degree course. In some cases, this study period extends to four years. It is an undergraduate course. After completing the course, the person is given the degree or the certificate of graduation. Until he completes the course, he is called an undergraduate only.

MA is a post-graduate degree or a graduate course. All graduates are eligible to study for MA degree course. MA degree course is offered in various subjects of arts. It is a course that has to be studied for a period of two years and for three years in some cases.

When it comes to the subjects, the students of MA study the major subject only. As MA is more in-depth analysis of a single subject and this requires you to have BA degree first, the number of students who follow MA course is less.

According to me It's time to take your own decision

If you have any doubts drop out in comment section

Thank you::)

Hey,

UG means Under graduation. You can only do BA or Bachelor of Arts for your under graduation.MA or Master of Arts is a post graduation degree which can be done only if you have completed your under graduation.

While BA is a three year programme,MA is a two year programme which offers specialistion in a particular subject coming under Humanities.Any one can pursue MA provided he/she has completed the undergraduation.

There are various courses that you can go for in your undergraduation. You may go for B Sc,B.Com,BBA,BCA etcetera.Diffeent courses have different eligibility criteria.

For BA,the minimum eligibility criteria is to pass 12th from any recognised board.

The admission for BA depends on the marks scored in 12th or the entrance exam conducted by the university concerned.

Some of the best colleges to study BA are St.Stephen's College,Hindu College,Sri Venkateswara College,Hansraj College,Jamia Millia Islamia,University of Calcutta.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.
